Air Curtain Plastic Cable Clip Mould and Moulding Service
Air Curtain Plastic Cable Clip Mould and Moulding Service | Renovator Appliances Ltd
Product Overview
Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides precision Air Curtain Plastic Cable Clip Mould and Moulding Service for manufacturing durable and accurately moulded plastic cable clips used in air curtain systems and HVAC equipment. These clips are designed to help secure, route, and organize electrical wires or cables within the appliance while maintaining proper positioning and preventing unnecessary cable movement.
Our moulding solutions can accommodate different clip geometries, cable diameters, mounting methods, retention mechanisms, snap-fit features, locking points, and installation requirements. The plastic cable clip can be developed according to customer drawings, CAD files, samples, dimensions, and specific air curtain assembly requirements.
The injection mould is designed for consistent reproduction of small and detailed clip features. Depending on production volume and component requirements, single-cavity or multi-cavity tooling can be considered for efficient manufacturing. We support OEM, ODM, replacement-part, and bulk production requirements.

Manufacturing Process
Product Design & Development
The cable clip design is developed according to cable diameter, required retention force, mounting location, available installation space, and assembly method. Snap-fit arms, locking features, mounting holes, ribs, and other functional details can be incorporated according to the application.
Plastic Mould Design
A precision mould is engineered around the approved component design. Gate position, parting line, draft angles, cooling channels, ejection system, cavity configuration, and critical clip features are considered to support reliable moulding.
Mould Manufacturing
The mould is manufactured using suitable tooling materials such as P20, H13, or S136 steel according to production volume, required durability, component complexity, and surface finish requirements. CNC machining, EDM, grinding, drilling, polishing, and mould fitting processes may be used.
Injection Moulding
The selected plastic material is processed through an injection moulding machine and injected into the mould cavity under controlled conditions. After cooling and solidification, the cable clip is ejected from the mould.
Finishing & Assembly
Moulded cable clips are inspected and, where required, trimmed or cleaned to remove minor moulding residues. Components can also be supplied ready for assembly into the air curtain system.
Quality Inspection
Finished clips are inspected for dimensions, clip opening, retention features, mounting compatibility, surface quality, warpage, flash, and overall consistency.
Raw Materials
| Material | Suitable Characteristics |
|---|---|
| PP | Lightweight with useful flexibility for clip applications |
| ABS | Good rigidity, dimensional stability, and surface finish |
| Nylon | High mechanical strength and suitable flexibility |
| PBT | Good dimensional stability for appliance applications |
| HIPS | Suitable impact resistance for selected designs |
| PC+ABS | Good strength and engineering performance |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Increased stiffness for demanding clip applications |
| PC | High strength and dimensional stability |
| Flame-Retardant Plastic | Can be selected where specific fire-performance requirements apply |
The final material should be selected according to cable size, required flexibility, retention force, temperature exposure, mechanical loads, electrical environment, and end-use conditions.
Quality Control
Raw Material Inspection
Plastic resin is checked against the specified material grade and production requirements before injection moulding.
Mould Inspection
The mould is checked for cavity dimensions, alignment, parting surfaces, ejector operation, cooling performance, and critical clip-forming features.
Dimensional Inspection
Critical dimensions including clip width, length, cable opening, mounting features, locking points, and overall geometry are inspected against approved specifications.
Visual Inspection
Each production batch can be inspected for flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, scratches, surface imperfections, and colour variation.
Functional Testing
Cable retention, clip engagement, mounting fit, snap-fit performance, and resistance to normal cable movement can be evaluated according to customer requirements.
Packaging Inspection
Finished cable clips are appropriately packed to help prevent deformation, scratches, contamination, and damage during transportation.
Buyer Guide
1. Share Cable Specifications
Provide cable diameter, cable type, quantity of cables to be retained, and required retention method.
2. Define Mounting Requirements
Specify whether the clip should use snap-fit, push-fit, screw mounting, adhesive mounting, or another installation method.
3. Provide Product Drawings or Samples
2D drawings, 3D CAD files, physical samples, dimensions, photographs, or existing components can help in accurate product and mould development.
4. Select Suitable Plastic
Consider flexibility, mechanical strength, temperature exposure, electrical environment, surface finish, and required service life when selecting the material.
5. Confirm Production Volume
Expected order quantity and annual demand help determine mould cavity configuration, tooling material, and production strategy.
