Electric Face Steamer Plastic Bottom Base Mould and Moulding Service
Electric Face Steamer Plastic Bottom Base Mould and Moulding Service | Renovator Appliances Ltd.
Product Overview
Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides Electric Face Steamer Plastic Bottom Base Mould and Moulding Service for manufacturing precision-moulded plastic bottom bases used in electric face steamers and facial steaming appliances. The bottom base forms the lower structural section of the appliance and provides a stable foundation for the main housing, water reservoir, steam-generation assembly, electrical components, wiring, and other internal parts.
The bottom base can be developed according to the overall appliance dimensions, internal component layout, mounting requirements, ventilation provisions, foot locations, cable routing, and assembly method. Precision plastic injection moulding supports consistent dimensions, accurate mounting interfaces, controlled wall thickness, structural strength, and repeatable production quality.

Industrial Applications
| Application Area | Use of Plastic Bottom Base |
|---|---|
| Electric Face Steamers | Lower structural support and appliance foundation |
| Facial Steamers | Support for housing and internal assemblies |
| Home Beauty Appliances | Structural bottom enclosure |
| Personal Care Steam Devices | Base support for electrical and steam-generation components |
| Portable Face Steamers | Compact and stable appliance base |
| OEM Personal Care Appliance Manufacturing | Customized bottom base production |
Manufacturing Process
1. Product Design & Development
The bottom base is developed according to the face steamer's overall dimensions, main housing geometry, internal component layout, water reservoir position, steam-generation assembly, electrical components, wiring, mounting points, and support requirements. Wall thickness, ribs, bosses, fastening locations, ventilation, foot positions, draft angles, and interfaces with adjoining components are evaluated during product development.
2. Plastic Mould Design
A dedicated injection mould is designed according to the bottom base geometry. The cavity, core, parting line, gate position, runner system, cooling channels, venting, ejection arrangement, draft angles, ribs, bosses, mounting features, and fastening provisions are planned to support reliable moulding and consistent dimensional accuracy.
3. Mould Manufacturing
The mould components are precision-machined, assembled, finished, and inspected. P20 Steel, H13 Steel, S136 Steel, or another suitable mould material can be selected according to production quantity, expected mould life, dimensional requirements, and surface-finish requirements.
4. Injection Moulding
The selected thermoplastic material is heated and injected into the mould cavity under controlled processing conditions. Injection pressure, melt temperature, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time are adjusted according to the selected material and bottom base geometry.
5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation
After moulding, gates and excess material are removed where applicable. The bottom bases are inspected for flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, scratches, cracks, weld lines, and other visible defects. Mounting bosses, screw locations, clips, feet provisions, ventilation openings, and assembly interfaces are checked and prepared as required.
6. Quality Inspection
Finished bottom bases are inspected for overall dimensions, wall thickness, flatness, mounting points, boss dimensions, rib geometry, ventilation openings, foot locations, surface quality, deformation, and fitment with the intended face steamer housing and internal components.
Raw Materials
| Material | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| ABS | Rigid appliance bases requiring good surface appearance and dimensional stability |
| PP | Lightweight bases requiring suitable flexibility and impact characteristics |
| HIPS | Economical appliance base applications |
| PC+ABS | Applications requiring a balance of strength, impact performance, and appearance |
| PC | Applications requiring higher impact resistance or specific thermal performance |
| PBT | Applications requiring dimensional and thermal stability |
| Nylon/PA | Structural applications requiring higher mechanical strength |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Load-bearing applications requiring increased stiffness |
| Flame-Retardant Plastic | Applications requiring specific fire-performance characteristics, subject to specification |
The final resin should be selected according to the bottom base's structural load, operating temperature, exposure to steam and moisture, impact requirements, electrical environment, dimensional stability, surface appearance, and applicable product specifications. Areas located close to heat-generating or steam-generating components should be evaluated for actual operating temperature and moisture conditions.
Quality Control
Raw Material Inspection: Verification of the specified plastic grade, colour, and incoming material condition.
Mould Inspection: Checking cavity condition, core geometry, parting line, cooling system, venting, and ejection mechanism.
Dimensional Inspection: Measurement of overall base dimensions, wall thickness, mounting bosses, ribs, screw holes, clips, foot provisions, and critical interfaces.
Flatness Inspection: Checking the bottom base for warpage, deformation, and stability on a flat surface.
Visual Inspection: Checking for flash, short shots, sink marks, burn marks, weld lines, scratches, cracks, warpage, and other cosmetic defects.
Mounting Feature Inspection: Verification of screw bosses, clips, tabs, locating points, and fastening features.
Component Fitment Inspection: Verification of interfaces with the main housing, water reservoir, steam-generation assembly, electrical components, wiring, and related parts.
Assembly Inspection: Checking alignment, fastening, stability, and fitment between the bottom base and mating appliance components.
Packaging Inspection: Protection of finished bases against scratches, deformation, dust, and handling damage during storage and transportation.
