Electric Upholstery Cleaner Plastic Cleaning Nozzle Mould and Moulding Service
Electric Upholstery Cleaner Plastic Cleaning Nozzle Mould and Moulding Service | Renovator Appliances Ltd
Product Overview
Renovator Appliances Ltd manufactures Electric Upholstery Cleaner Plastic Cleaning Nozzle using precision plastic injection moulding processes for electric upholstery cleaners, portable spot cleaners, carpet cleaning machines, fabric cleaning equipment, and compact extraction cleaning systems. The cleaning nozzle is designed to direct cleaning solution and/or extracted water toward the target surface while supporting effective contact, cleaning, and liquid recovery during operation.
The nozzle can be customized according to the machine's cleaning mechanism, spray or suction arrangement, nozzle opening, internal flow path, hose connection, mounting structure, grip interface, and overall dimensions. Precision mould design and controlled injection moulding help achieve accurate flow passages, dimensional stability, smooth surfaces, reliable connections, and consistent fitment with the cleaner assembly.
Custom OEM and ODM manufacturing solutions are available for different nozzle geometries, spray configurations, suction openings, connector designs, mounting features, colours, textures, and application-specific requirements.

Manufacturing Process
1. Product Design & Development
The cleaning nozzle is developed according to the cleaner's fluid-flow system, suction arrangement, hose dimensions, target cleaning area, and machine architecture. Important features such as nozzle opening, internal channels, spray outlets, suction slots, connector geometry, mounting points, ribs, and ergonomic features are incorporated into the CAD design.
Design evaluation helps ensure proper fitment with the cleaning head and compatibility with the required fluid or suction pathway.
2. Plastic Mould Design
A precision injection mould is designed based on the nozzle geometry and production requirements. The mould design considers cavity configuration, parting line, draft angles, core and cavity construction, gate position, runner system, cooling channels, venting, and ejection arrangement.
For nozzles containing narrow passages or multiple openings, special attention is given to core design, venting, flow balance, and dimensional accuracy.
3. Mould Manufacturing
The mould is manufactured using suitable tool steels such as P20 Steel, H13 Steel, or S136 Steel, depending on the selected plastic material, production quantity, mould-life requirements, and required surface finish.
CNC machining, EDM, drilling, grinding, polishing, fitting, and mould assembly processes are used to manufacture accurate mould components. Trial moulding can be carried out to validate the mould and identify any required corrections before production.
4. Injection Moulding
The selected plastic resin is processed through an injection moulding machine under controlled temperature, pressure, injection speed, holding pressure, and cooling conditions.
Molten plastic fills the nozzle mould cavity and forms the required external geometry, internal passages, connector features, mounting points, and openings. Controlled cooling helps minimize warpage and maintain dimensional consistency.
5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation
After moulding, the cleaning nozzle undergoes gate trimming, flash removal, visual cleaning, and other required finishing operations. Connector areas and fluid-flow openings are checked to ensure they remain clear and properly formed.
Where required, additional components such as hose connectors, seals, tubes, clips, or other accessories can be prepared for subsequent assembly.
6. Quality Inspection
Finished cleaning nozzles are inspected for dimensional accuracy, opening geometry, connector dimensions, surface quality, mounting features, and fitment with the corresponding cleaner assembly.
Flow, spray direction, hose connection, suction interface, and functional fitment can be checked according to the customer's application and approved specifications.
Raw Materials
| Plastic Material | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| PP (Polypropylene) | Lightweight nozzle applications with good moisture and chemical resistance |
| ABS | Rigid nozzles requiring good dimensional stability and surface finish |
| HIPS | Cost-effective rigid cleaning components |
| HDPE | Applications requiring impact and moisture resistance |
| PC+ABS | Applications requiring improved strength and impact performance |
| PBT | Engineering applications requiring dimensional stability |
| Nylon / PA | Higher-strength nozzle and connector applications |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Reinforced structural or mounting areas |
| ASA | Applications requiring improved environmental and surface resistance |
| Flame-Retardant Plastic | Applications requiring specified flame-retardant properties |
| Engineering Plastics | Specialized applications requiring enhanced mechanical or thermal performance |
The final plastic grade is selected according to fluid exposure, cleaning-agent compatibility, impact requirements, temperature conditions, required stiffness, surface finish, and production requirements.
