Manufacturing Process
The AC Plastic Fan Blade is manufactured using precision plastic injection moulding. Selected plastic granules are dried and fed into an injection moulding machine, where the material is heated to the required processing temperature.
The molten plastic is injected into a precision-engineered mould cavity containing the required blade profile, hub geometry, blade pitch, mounting bore, ribs, and reinforcement features. Controlled cooling allows the component to solidify while maintaining its aerodynamic shape.
After ejection, the fan blade is trimmed and inspected for dimensions, blade angle, hub geometry, mounting accuracy, weight, surface finish, warpage, and balance. Dynamic balancing can be performed where required for rotating applications.
Mould Manufacturing Process
The mould is developed from the required 2D drawing, 3D CAD model, blade profile, or customer specifications. Special attention is given to blade geometry, pitch angle, hub design, mounting bore, parting line, cooling channels, draft angles, and ejection system.
Suitable mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 can be selected based on production volume, required mould life, product complexity, and surface-finish requirements.
Mould components are manufactured using CNC machining, EDM, precision drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting. Trial moulding is then performed to verify blade dimensions, balance, mounting accuracy, warpage, surface quality, and moulding performance.
