Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Pump Housing Mould and Moulding Services
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Pump Housing Mould and Moulding Services
Product Overview
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Pump Housing Mould and Moulding Services are designed for manufacturing precision plastic pump housing components used to enclose, support, and protect the water pump assembly inside head spa shampoo machines.
The pump housing provides a structured mounting and protective enclosure around the pump while supporting proper connection of water inlet and outlet hoses, electrical wiring, and associated water-circulation components. Depending on the machine design, the housing can incorporate mounting bosses, screw posts, locating ribs, cable-routing sections, hose-clearance areas, ventilation features, and alignment points.
The housing can be customized according to the pump dimensions, mounting arrangement, water-line configuration, available internal space, operating conditions, and required assembly method. Two-piece housings, upper/lower covers, snap-fit designs, screw-fastened configurations, and integrated mounting features can be developed according to OEM requirements.
Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides plastic mould manufacturing and injection moulding services for customized pump housings, supporting prototype development, OEM/ODM production, and volume manufacturing.

Manufacturing Process
1. Product Design & Development
The manufacturing process begins with the customer's CAD drawing, technical drawing, physical sample, or pump specifications. Critical dimensions such as pump length, width, height, mounting-hole locations, inlet and outlet positions, hose sizes, wiring paths, and available installation clearance are evaluated.
The housing geometry is developed to provide adequate pump support while maintaining required clearances from surrounding components. Screw bosses, mounting ribs, locating pins, cable passages, hose openings, snap-fit sections, and reinforcement features can be incorporated according to the assembly design.
2. Plastic Injection Mould Design
A dedicated injection mould is designed according to the required pump housing geometry. The mould incorporates the cavity, core, parting line, gate, runner system, cooling channels, vents, and ejection mechanism.
For multi-piece pump housings, each housing section can be designed with accurate mating surfaces, alignment features, screw bosses, clips, and locating points. Particular attention is given to wall thickness, corner transitions, boss strength, and areas surrounding pump mounting points.
3. Mould Manufacturing
The mould can be manufactured using suitable mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 Steel, depending on production quantity, mould-life requirements, component complexity, and surface-finish requirements.
CNC machining, EDM, drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting processes are used to manufacture the mould. Critical dimensions such as pump mounting locations, mating surfaces, hose openings, and screw-boss positions are inspected before production.
4. Injection Moulding
The selected plastic material is processed through controlled injection moulding. Injection temperature, mould temperature, injection pressure, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time are adjusted according to the material and pump housing geometry.
Process control is especially important around mounting bosses, ribs, corners, mating surfaces, and larger housing sections to minimize defects such as sink marks, warpage, short shots, flash, and dimensional variation.
5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation
After moulding, gate marks and unwanted flash are removed where required. The housing is checked for surface defects, deformation, incomplete moulding, blocked openings, and damage to mounting features.
Sample assembly is performed with the pump, inlet and outlet hoses, electrical wiring, fasteners, and related components where applicable. Mating housing sections are checked for correct alignment, fastening, and fit.
6. Quality Inspection
Finished pump housings undergo dimensional, visual, and functional inspection. Critical checkpoints include overall dimensions, pump mounting location, screw-boss position, housing mating surfaces, hose openings, cable-routing sections, wall thickness, and alignment features.
Assembly testing can be carried out with the specified pump and related components to verify proper positioning, fastening, clearance, and accessibility for installation and maintenance.
Raw Materials
| Plastic Material | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| PP | Lightweight pump housings with good moisture resistance |
| ABS | Rigid housings requiring good dimensional stability and surface finish |
| PC+ABS | Applications requiring improved impact strength and dimensional performance |
| Nylon / PA | Higher-strength housing and mounting applications |
| PBT | Engineering applications requiring dimensional stability |
| PC | Applications requiring higher impact performance |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Higher-strength structural pump housing applications |
| HDPE | Moisture-resistant housing applications |
| Flame-Retardant Engineering Plastic | Applications requiring additional flame-resistance properties |
| Suitable Engineering Plastic | Customized applications requiring specific mechanical or thermal performance |
The final material should be selected according to pump operating temperature, moisture exposure, vibration, mounting load, electrical requirements, cleaning conditions, impact requirements, and the overall machine design.
