Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Water Inlet Connector Mould and Moulding Services
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Water Inlet Connector Mould and Moulding Services
Product Overview
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Water Inlet Connector Mould and Moulding Services are designed for manufacturing precision plastic inlet connection components used to connect the incoming water supply line, hose, tube, or plumbing connection to the water circulation system of a head spa shampoo machine.
The water inlet connector provides a secure interface between the external water supply and internal water-routing components such as water hoses, pipes, tanks, pumps, valves, spray systems, or basin assemblies. The connector can be customized according to the required hose diameter, pipe size, connection method, insertion depth, flow passage, mounting arrangement, and available installation space.
Depending on the machine design, the component can be developed in straight, angled, stepped, threaded, barbed, push-fit, or multi-port configurations. Features such as hose-retention ribs, barbs, locking grooves, sealing areas, locating sections, and reinforced connection zones can be incorporated into the mould design.
Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides plastic mould manufacturing and injection moulding services for customized water inlet connectors, supporting prototype development, OEM production, and volume manufacturing according to customer drawings, CAD data, samples, or technical specifications.

Manufacturing Process
1. Product Design & Development
The manufacturing process begins with the customer's CAD drawing, technical drawing, physical sample, or product specifications. Important dimensions such as hose inner diameter, hose outer diameter, connector diameter, insertion depth, internal water passage, connection type, and mounting arrangement are evaluated.
The connector can be developed in straight, elbow, reducer, stepped, threaded, barbed, or other application-specific configurations. Retaining ribs, locking grooves, sealing sections, locating features, and reinforcement areas can be incorporated according to the machine assembly.
2. Plastic Injection Mould Design
A dedicated injection mould is designed around the required water inlet connector geometry. The mould design includes the cavity, core, parting line, gate, runner system, cooling channels, vents, and ejection arrangement.
For connectors containing internal water passages, suitable core features are incorporated to maintain the required internal diameter and flow path. Critical areas such as hose-fitment sections, barbs, threads, grooves, and sealing surfaces are designed for accurate and repeatable production.
3. Mould Manufacturing
The mould is manufactured using suitable mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 Steel, depending on production volume, component complexity, surface requirements, and expected mould life.
CNC machining, EDM, drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting processes are used to manufacture the cavity and core components. Critical connector dimensions and internal passage features are inspected before the mould is released for production.
4. Injection Moulding
The selected plastic material is processed using controlled injection moulding parameters. Injection temperature, mould temperature, injection pressure, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time are adjusted according to the selected material and connector geometry.
Special attention is given to the connector's internal passage, hose connection area, wall thickness, and sealing features to minimize defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, deformation, or blockage of the water passage.
5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation
After moulding, gate marks and unwanted flash are removed where required. Each connector is checked for deformation, blockage, surface defects, and dimensional variation.
The hose connection section is inspected for proper barbs, grooves, threads, push-fit sections, or retaining features. Sample assembly can be performed with the relevant hose, tube, pump, tank, spray arm, or water-routing component to verify fitment.
6. Quality Inspection
Finished components undergo dimensional, visual, functional, and assembly inspection. Important checkpoints may include connector diameter, hose insertion depth, internal passage diameter, overall dimensions, wall thickness, connection geometry, and assembly fit.
Where required, leakage or pressure testing can be performed under specified operating conditions to verify the integrity of the water inlet connection.
Raw Materials
| Plastic Material | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| PP | Lightweight water-line connectors and general-purpose components |
| HDPE | Components requiring good moisture and chemical resistance |
| POM | Precision connectors requiring dimensional stability and low friction |
| Nylon / PA | Strong connectors requiring higher mechanical performance |
| ABS | Rigid connector applications with good dimensional stability |
| PC+ABS | Applications requiring improved strength and dimensional performance |
| PBT | Engineering applications requiring dimensional stability |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Higher-strength connector and structural connection applications |
| PC | Applications requiring higher impact performance |
| Flame-Retardant Engineering Plastic | Applications where additional flame resistance is required |
The final plastic grade should be selected according to water exposure, temperature, cleaning chemicals, pressure, mechanical loading, dimensional requirements, and the overall machine design.
