Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Basin Outer Body Shell Mould and Moulding Services
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Basin Outer Body Shell Mould and Moulding Services | Renovator Appliances Ltd.
Product Overview
Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Basin Outer Body Shell is the external moulded plastic shell that forms the outer structure and appearance of the basin assembly used in professional head spa and shampoo machines. It provides structural support around the basin area and is designed to accommodate and integrate with the basin inner shell, neck rest, drainage arrangement and surrounding machine body.
Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides customized Head Spa Shampoo Machine Plastic Basin Outer Body Shell Mould and Moulding Services for head spa machine manufacturers, salon equipment brands, OEMs and professional beauty equipment manufacturers. The outer body shell can be developed according to the machine's overall basin dimensions, inner shell geometry, neck-rest arrangement, mounting structure and connection with the main body housing.
The shell can incorporate mounting bosses, ribs, locating features, clips, fastening points, pipe clearances and assembly interfaces according to the machine design. Its external surface can be developed with smooth, textured or decorative finishes to match the overall appearance of the head spa equipment.
The injection moulding process provides consistent dimensions, repeatable geometry and controlled surface quality for commercial production. Material selection can be customized according to structural requirements, water exposure, cleaning conditions, impact requirements and desired appearance.

Manufacturing Process
1. Product Design & Development
The manufacturing process begins with the development of the basin outer body shell according to the customer's 2D drawing, 3D CAD model, physical sample or complete machine assembly.
Overall basin dimensions, external contours, inner-shell interface, neck-rest position, drainage arrangement, main body connection and mounting structure are evaluated. Mounting bosses, ribs, locating features, clips, tabs, fastening points and required clearances are incorporated according to the machine design.
The outer appearance is also considered during product development, including surface curvature, corner transitions, decorative features, texture and colour requirements.
2. Plastic Mould Design
A dedicated injection mould is designed according to the geometry of the basin outer body shell. Cavity and core construction, parting line, gate location, runner system, cooling channels, venting and ejection arrangement are determined according to the component design.
Large curved surfaces are carefully considered during mould development because uneven cooling or shrinkage can cause warpage. Proper draft angles, wall thickness and rib placement are incorporated to support smooth mould release and dimensional stability.
The mould is also designed to accurately reproduce mounting bosses, clips, locating features and other functional details.
3. Mould Manufacturing
The mould is manufactured using suitable mould steel such as P20 Steel, H13 Steel or S136 Steel, depending on production volume, expected mould life, dimensional requirements and surface-finish requirements.
Precision CNC machining, EDM, drilling, grinding, polishing and other mould-making operations are performed according to the approved mould design.
The cavity surface can be finished according to the required external appearance, including smooth, matte or specified textured finishes.
4. Injection Moulding
The selected plastic material is processed using an injection moulding machine under controlled production conditions. The plastic is heated and injected into the mould cavity at controlled pressure and temperature.
Injection pressure, melt temperature, holding pressure, cooling time and cycle time are controlled to achieve proper cavity filling and consistent dimensions.
Cooling is particularly important for the broad curved areas of the outer shell to reduce shrinkage, warpage and deformation and to maintain the intended basin shape.
5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation
After moulding, the basin outer shell is removed from the mould and inspected for moulding defects. Gate marks, flash and excess material are removed where required.
The external surface is checked for scratches, sink marks, short shots, weld lines, burn marks, cracks, warpage and other visible defects.
Mounting bosses, clips, locating features, fastening points and interfaces with the basin inner shell and main body housing are checked for proper formation.
6. Quality Inspection
Finished outer shells undergo dimensional, visual and assembly inspection. Overall dimensions, external contour, mounting positions, wall thickness and mating interfaces are verified against approved drawings or CAD specifications.
Sample assembly can be performed with the basin inner shell, neck rest, drainage components and main body housing to verify correct alignment and fitment.
Surface appearance, colour, texture and structural consistency are also checked before final approval.
Raw Materials
| Plastic Material | Typical Application |
|---|---|
| PP | Lightweight outer shells requiring good moisture and chemical resistance |
| ABS | Rigid outer shells requiring good appearance, impact resistance and dimensional stability |
| HIPS | Cost-effective rigid basin outer shell applications |
| HDPE | Moisture-exposed applications requiring good chemical resistance |
| PC+ABS | Applications requiring improved impact strength and dimensional performance |
| PC | Higher-impact outer shell applications requiring dimensional stability |
| PBT | Applications requiring dimensional and thermal stability |
| Nylon / PA | Structural applications requiring higher mechanical strength |
| Glass-Filled Nylon | Reinforced structural areas requiring higher stiffness |
| Suitable Flame-Retardant Plastic | Applications requiring specified flame-resistance properties |
The final material should be selected according to structural loading, water exposure, cleaning chemicals, impact requirements, surface appearance and operating conditions.
